Elmer Davis - WWI Machine Gun Units under Pershing

Elmer Davis was my grandmother's brother. She was ill when he died in 1952 and knew he died in Florida but wasn't sure where. After 50 years, and long after my grandmother's death, I have located his grave in Edgewater Cemetery. Without knowing anything about the wreaths, I had planned a visit to visit the cemetery the first weekend of Dec. He had no children, no one to remember and I doubt that anyone has ever visited his grave. But before the 15th there will be a wreath on his grave from his great-nieces.
