How can I get involved?

We hope you will be able to join us at Arlington National Cemetery, or any of the OVER 200 participating locations across the Country.

For those not able to attend, please pass the word that there will be a Moment of Silence at Noon EST, where people all across the Nation will stop and share a silent thank you, to all those who serve, to all we've lost, and to their families who will be without loved ones this holidays.

Please visit Locations on the navigation bar to print off an invitation you can share with friends and colleagues, as well as finding the latest information about locations participating in your area.

Where can we puchase Worcester Wreath products?

This site is about our mission and motivation to give something back, and express appreciation to those who have given so much.

Each passing season however, we receive an increasing number of requests about our products, and where they can be purchased as gifts, or for the home.

We are proud to share the following link to Worcester Wreath Company - where you can purchase the same Remembrance Wreaths or other traditional balsam items to decorate your home or office. Click below to see information on this season's holiday offerings:

Is the cemetery in my local area going to host a wreath-laying ceremony?

We are receiving updates daily from our participating squadrons around the country, and where there is no CAP unit available, from other volunteering civic groups.

In total, there are over 350 State and National veterans cemeteries, and veterans monuments across the country. Our goal is to do as much as we can, at all locations in 2008 - but we need help from volunteers in each local area.

Please check back and visit your State, or contact our HQ if you have a question about a specific location.

Can I purchase a Remembrance Wreath for my loved one's grave?

Would you like to purchase a wreath for your loved ones grave?

At this time, Wreaths Across America is not able to accommodate remembrance wreaths to be shipped directly to you or others. In order to meet these requests, Worcester Wreath Company has agreed to provide mail-order wreaths available to be shipped directly to your door.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these wreaths will help Wreaths Across America in their mission to Remember; Honor; and Teach.

These wreaths measure 20" in diameter and feature a hand tied red velveteen bow.

Shipping starts on November 23, 2007.

Regarding wreath placement?

Prior to the wreath-laying ceremonies, cemetery administrative personnel give participants specific instructions regarding placement of wreaths. In most state/national cemeteries, participants are instructed to place wreaths only on graves bearing the Christian cross or nondenominational graves.

Both the Arlington Wreath Project and Wreaths Across America profess no political or religious agenda - but rather wish to remember and honor our veterans during the holidays - a time of traditional family gatherings - and teach our children that we are able to do so, in peace, because of the many sacrifices made by our military men and women.
