Have you seen?

by Maryanna Rundell Johnson
(Beavercreek, Ohio)

My father was a WWII veteran. He is buried at Bushnell
Cemetery. I live in Ohio and am not able to be at the wreath ceremony. How I would love to be there. I loved him so and miss him so very much. Did anyone see the grave of Howard F. Rundell Sr.? Did he receive a wreath? He died November 1, 2005. My father served in Burma and helped build the Burma Road. He lived in jungles and slept on a hamock for three years. My mother told me that when he came home he couldn't sleep in a bed for awhile. Like most WWII veterns he spoke very little of his years during WWII. The thing I remember most is up until he passed away he would have nightmares that he was being attacked by a tiger. We would always kid him about it, but I am sure it was no joke. If you saw my dad's grave, please let me know. Thank you! God Bless America!
