My husband was recently interned @ Arlington

Thank you for doing this for our fallen heros. My husband died on August 25,2007 while he was working in Doha,Qatar. He was buried on Nov 7, 2007 in Arlington National Cemetery with full Army Honors. It was a dignified ceremony for an elegant man. He had served as a Lt.Col in the Army Corps of Engineers for over 20 years. For more than 20 years, he had worked in the middle east on contract work with civilian contrators doing work for the US military. His last assignment was with ITT doing projects for the Troops who would come off the battle field, making their brief time in a peaceful environment a pleasant experience before they had to return to the battlefield. One request he asked of me was to go thru his closet, chose those articles of clothing I no longer used and send them to to him, so that he would be able to see that the troops would have something to wear while they were on "liberty". He would often remark that he would see my shirts on the troops who were on "liberty" walking around the base. I would be honored to meet with anyone responsible for this honoring of our fallen heroes. I go to Arlington on a weekly basis, and will be there early saturday morning to be there when they place the Christmas Wreaths on the graves of our fallen heroes.
Regards,
Carol Walton, wife of the late Lt Col Ronald A Walton
