Thank you for such a moving and emotional account of the laying of the wreaths in South Carolina. I am just so glad that our young people were as involved as the active duty and veterans. Not only am I the wife of a retired solder of 24 years with 2 tours in Viet Nam, I am also a retired teacher after having taught children in 5 states and in Germany. I do so hope that I instilled into those young people a love and respect for our flag, our country, and the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we could enjoy all of the things that we do as free Americans. This was a very moving and goose bump, lump in the throat, tears in the eyes, etc. account of just one of the wreath layings. We plan to be at the one at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetary where my husband and I hope to be interred some day. Thank you for taking the time to write this beautiful and moving story.

Thank you by: Larry Dearborn
I am from Maine and I with many other PGR members and others escorted the 10,000 wreaths to Arlington. My feeling were the same as yours. What a sight with so many participating. It took us 7 planned days to reach Arlington. This memory will remain with me forever. Looking forward to the next trip starting on December 7 (Pearl Harbor Day). And the beginning of WW2. Thank you for all you have done, it has been great reading all of the messages from across America. Larry Dearborn USA-RET PGR Member
