Update: Prescott National Cemetery- Laying of the Wreath Ceremony

Fellow PGR members-

We have been honored with the privilege of conducting the ceremonies and presentation at the National Cemetery in Prescott. It is being done simultaneously across the nation in conjunction with the President's Laying of the Wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery this Saturday Dec. 15th, 2007.

The ceremony will begin sharply at 10:00 am.

I have made special arrangement with the Comfort Inn (928-778-5770) for a special rate of $59.99. You will need to mention "promo #3" if you'd like to go up the night before to enjoy downtown Prescott, get out of town, and most of all, honor our soldiers in this national ceremony being conducted across this great nation.

To date arrangements have been made:

For the Prescott High School ROTC Cadets to attend, presenting colors in full uniform, as well as assisting in the laying of the wreaths. Thank you Colonel Peeples.

Attendance by Prescott Mayor Jack Wilson as a participant/speaker

Local Support/Attendance from the American Legion Post 40, Chino Valley & Prescott Post 6

Media coverage by he local newspaper- Prescott Daily Courier

Arm presentation by members of the American Legion Post 6 coordinated by Dan Tillmans

Bugler (TAPS) by Karl Kaub

Possible missing man formation fly-over and further participant/arrangements being finalized

Please join us in support of this honor, as we stand tall in honor of those who have given so much.
